Accessibility statement

The kaperx.ma website aims to meet level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2. We check it on every release with automated tests and with manual checks, using a keyboard and screen readers, in French and in Arabic. If a page is difficult for you to use, write to us: we reply within two working days.

Our commitment

Our guides are written for executives, lawyers, compliance officers and customer service teams. Some of them navigate with a keyboard, a screen reader, a magnifier or very large text; others read in Arabic, from right to left. Content that some of these readers cannot use does not do its job.

Our target is WCAG 2.2 level AA, the recommendation published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). It is the reference behind most digital accessibility policies around the world.

Our checks

We do not state an accessibility level without testing it. On every new release of the site:

  1. Automated tests. Pages are analysed with axe-core, an accessibility testing engine, and with Lighthouse. These tools catch some errors: insufficient contrast, images without alternative text, form fields without labels, missing language attributes.
  2. Manual keyboard checks. We go through the main pages without a mouse: tab order, access to every link and button, no keyboard traps.
  3. Screen reader checks, in French and in Arabic, to confirm that headings, lists, tables and links are announced correctly, including in right-to-left reading order.

Automated tools do not find every barrier. That is why manual checks are part of every release, and why your reports matter.

What the site supports

  • Visible focus. When you navigate with a keyboard, the active element is always shown with a visible outline.
  • Reduced motion. If you have turned on your system's "reduce motion" setting, the site respects it (the prefers-reduced-motion setting).
  • Three languages, correctly declared. Each page states its language (French, Arabic or English) and its reading direction, left to right or right to left, so that screen readers pronounce the text in the right language and the layout runs right to left in Arabic.
  • Contrast. Text colours have been chosen to meet the level AA contrast ratios.

Conformance status

The site is designed and tested to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA. To date, it has not been audited for accessibility by an independent body. We therefore do not claim full conformance: we describe what we do and what we know about our limitations.

Known limitations

  • Images. Some images are decorative or illustrative. Where an image carries information (a diagram, for example), that information is also given in the text of the page.
  • Documents and videos. To date, the site offers no PDF documents and no videos. If we add any, we will make them accessible or provide an equivalent text version.
  • Third-party websites. Our guides link to official websites: regulators, legal texts, standards bodies. Their accessibility is outside our control. If one of them causes you difficulty, let us know and we will try to get the information to you another way.

Reporting an access barrier

If you cannot access some content or use a feature of the site:

  1. Email kaperx.ma@gmail.com with the subject "Accessibility".
  2. Tell us which page is affected (its address or title), what you were trying to do and, if you wish, the browser and assistive technology you use.
  3. We reply within two working days, in English, French or Arabic.

If the content remains difficult to access, we will send it to you in a suitable format, for example as plain text by email. We then fix the page where we can.

You can also write to us from our Contact Us page.

Reference framework

WCAG 2.2 is our technical standard. In Morocco, Framework Law No. 97-13 on the protection and promotion of the rights of persons with disabilities sets out the principle that these persons should have access to information and services. We mention it as general context: this statement describes our voluntary approach and is not an analysis of the legal obligations that apply to the site.

Updates to this statement
